My name is Holly. I am a professional home organiser with a passion for helping people find peace, calm and order in their lives and their homes.
I have two children, two ducks, two dogs, but only one husband!
Over the past 25 years, I have worked with dozens of families and in countless homes across the UK as a private nanny, maternity nurse, and household manager. From setting up nurseries for new parents to home staging for property sales to packing up houses and managing relocations, I have brought my love of organising and helping people – whether busy, stuck, or overwhelmed – to find balance and harmony in their lives.
I launched The Happy Nest to be both liberating and life-giving, to help people become more organised, realign their lives, and find more time for the things they love!
Whether you’re burdened with clutter or your home could benefit from a complete reorganisation, please do get in touch for a free consultation to find out how I can help you find the calm amidst the chaos. I am a proud member of the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (APDO) and cover the Greater Cambridgeshire area.
When I founded The Happy Nest more than two years ago, I couldn’t have imagined how many items I’d end up taking from clients’ homes. As I learnt the ins and outs of local charities and recycling methods, this part of my work became a true passion—one that has grown into a central part of my business ethos.
After each session, I make it my mission to ensure that items find a second home. I work closely with a local refuge centre, homeless shelter, schools, and charity shops to make sure that donations go directly to those who can use them within our Cambridgeshire community.
Sustainability is the backbone of The Happy Nest, and I incorporate it into every part of my work. Onsite, I use reusable bags, washable cloths, and a non-chemical spray for any necessary surface cleaning. Beyond the time spent with clients, I dedicate many hours afterward to organising, consolidating, and delivering donations to relevant charities—and this is all included in my fees, so there are no hidden costs.
We’re fortunate to live in a county with excellent recycling resources for everything from eyeglasses to towels and even printer cartridges. I’m dedicated to going above and beyond to recycle and repurpose every item, keeping landfill as an absolute last resort.
After all, everything we create never truly leaves the planet—so why not make the most of every last use?
